Opera Loudspeakers

Opera builds loudspeakers in Italy the way the country builds most things it is proud of: patiently, by hand, and with an ear for beauty. Sister company to Unison Research, Opera develops its drivers with specialist partners and houses them in thick, internally braced MDF cabinets finished like furniture.

The Classica line we carry runs from the compact Mezza bookshelf to full-range floorstanders — speakers voiced for texture in voices and instruments rather than short-term impressiveness.

Opera is well represented at our showroom: the Grand Callas plays in one of our big-room systems, and the Quinta SE anchors a demonstration room sized like an everyday living room. Bring your own records and hear them properly. Those rooms are System 2 and System 5.
