Michell Audio

Michell has been engineering turntables in England for decades, and one design tells the story: the GyroDec, with its suspended chassis and distinctive weighted spider, has remained in production — continuously refined — since the 1980s. Few products in hi-fi have earned that kind of longevity.

Michell turntables are precision instruments: machined metalwork, carefully isolated bearings and motors, and upgrade paths that let a deck grow with you rather than be replaced.

The current range is below — turntables, tonearms, Cusis moving-coil cartridges, and the Apollo phono stage. Hearing a suspended-chassis Michell run is the fastest way to understand the design; the showroom has one playing.
