The A12 APEX is the evolution of the A12 Classic, a hybrid integrated amplifier that pairs ECC81/12AT7 tube preamplification with a transistor output stage delivering 190 watts per channel into 8 ohms. The design is dual mono, with two toroidal transformers and Class A/B output stages that run their first watts in Class A via High-Bias. An MM/MC phono stage with RIAA correction, an ESS9039 DAC, HDMI eARC with CEC control, AMP-IN inputs for home-cinema integration, and two subwoofer outputs switchable between mono and stereo round out the platform, with a socket for the optional A-BTC Bluetooth dongle.
