The Planar 1 is Rega's entry turntable, supplied ready to play with a factory-fitted Rega Carbon moving magnet cartridge and pre-set bias, so set-up takes under 30 seconds. It uses the hand-assembled RB110 tonearm, a 24V low-noise synchronous motor and a phenolic resin platter with a flywheel effect for stable speed.
