The Sabre-R revives the name of Ruark's first loudspeaker, launched by founders Alan and Brian O'Rourke in 1985. A two-way passive standmount sold per pair, it combines a 28 mm silk dome tweeter with a 130 mm NS+ long-throw woofer in a tuned bass-reflex cabinet with a double-flared port. The hand-crafted cabinets are clad in recomposed sustainable-wood veneers, finished in Fused Walnut or Satin Charcoal with removable magnetic grilles, and two pairs of binding posts allow single or bi-wire connection.
