The A8 APEX is the most compact hybrid integrated amplifier in the APEX range, inspired by the A10 and A12, pairing ECC81/12AT7 tube preamplification with a Class A/B transistor output stage rated at 76 watts per channel into 8 ohms. A toroidal transformer supplies the power stage, and the front panel carries a VU-meter. Analog and digital sources connect alongside a USB computer input and HDMI eARC with CEC for a television, an integrated RIAA phono preamplifier accepts MM cartridges, and a subwoofer output, Pre-Out, and Amp-In extend the system options. The optional A-BTC receiver adds Bluetooth.
