The ACD APEX is the APEX range CD player, fitted with RAYTHEON 5744 NOS subminiature tubes in its analog output stage. Conversion is handled by a WM8761 DAC, and both digital outputs and unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR analog outputs make it compatible with any amplifier. Distortion measures 0.005% THD+N with a signal-to-noise ratio of -106dBrA across a 20Hz-20kHz frequency response.
