The UX-1 is a universal source combining a network player, a DAC, a CD player, an asynchronous XMOS USB-B computer input, and DAB/DAB+ and FM tuners in a single unit. Conversion runs through AKM's AK4490 VELVET SOUND converter, supporting PCM to 768kHz and 11.2MHz DSD, with five digital filters; the CD section uses Tamul servo technology and reads CD, CD-R/RW, and MP3/WMA discs. Three optical and two coaxial inputs serve external digital sources, outputs pair balanced XLR with unbalanced RCA plus optical and coaxial digital outs, and the network player is AirPlay and DLNA compatible under the Advance PlayStream app. A BDD port accepts the company's digital Bluetooth receiver. Available in black or white.
