The DMP-A8 Gen 2 is a streaming DAC and preamplifier built around an 8.6-inch touchscreen and an AKM two-chip conversion stage pairing the AK4191EQ digital processor with the AK4499EXEQ converter. A dual power supply separates the linear analog and digital sections, reaching a 20uV noise floor, and dual ultra-low phase-noise clocks cover both the 44.1kHz and 48kHz sampling families. The balanced output measures better than 129dB for dynamic range and signal-to-noise, with THD+N of 0.000075%. USB, IIS, AES/EBU, coaxial and optical outputs also allow it to run as a pure digital transport into an external converter.
