The MC1.25KW is McIntosh's most powerful single-chassis monoblock, delivering 1,200 watts into 2, 4 or 8 ohm speakers. Compared with its predecessor, filter capacity is increased by 50 percent, improving low- frequency performance and dynamic headroom. Four Monogrammed Heatsinks connect to high-current output transistors that eliminate thermal equilibrium lag time, and the transformers sit in glass-topped enclosures behind the front panel.
