First released in 1961 and now in its sixth generation, the MC275 is the most revered vacuum tube amplifier McIntosh has made. It delivers 75 watts per channel in stereo to 4, 8 or 16 ohm speakers, or 150 watts as a monoblock, through the patented Unity Coupled Circuit output transformers on which the company was founded. The current edition adds the widest bandwidth McIntosh output transformer design, tauter bass control and a thermally quiet circuit.
