The MC462 is McIntosh's most powerful stereo amplifier, rated at 450 watts per channel into 2, 4 or 8 ohms. Filter capacity is increased nearly 50 percent over the MC452 it replaces, lifting dynamic headroom from 1.8dB to 3.0dB. Quad Balanced circuitry, Power Guard, Sentry Monitor and four Monogrammed Heatsinks round out a design finished with the classic black glass front panel and twin blue watt meters.
