The MR89 continues the tuner lineage that produced the celebrated MR78, with exclusive McIntosh radio-frequency circuitry that resists overload from strong local FM signals while pulling in weak distant stations with little noise. An advanced signal quality monitor displays signal, multipath and noise levels to guide antenna placement. Balanced and unbalanced analog outputs are joined by coaxial and optical digital outputs, and 60dB meters show output level.
