The ARIS 12 is the 12-inch model in Von Schweikert's subwoofer line, built around the Analog Room Integration System and slotted-port quasi-transmission-line loading. Its light, stiff carbon fiber driver uses a vented voice coil and a large motor, powered by the company's 1000-watt Foundation amplifier technology. An isolation transformer lets the amplifier take its signal directly from the system's main power amplifier, and phase is adjustable from 0 to 360 degrees in standard or inverted polarity for room integration.
