The ULTRA.7 carries Albert Von Schweikert's first principles of loudspeaker design — recreation of space, dynamics, phase coherence, and faithfulness to the source — into a full-range tower with sensitivity in the mid-90s, suiting amplifiers from moderate-power tube designs to high-power solid state. Individual frequency and level controls for each band allow the speaker to be tuned to the room, and it scales from very large spaces down to typically sized listening rooms. The optional Foundation Hybrid Bass System adds an 800-watt woofer amplifier with fully analog bass adjustment for placement flexibility.
