A.C.T. stands for Advanced Composite Technology, the materials engineering on which Wilson Benesch was founded, and the A.C.T. 3zero is the sixth generation of a line that began in 1991 with the A.C.T. One, the world's first carbon fibre composite loudspeaker. Its monocoque enclosure moves the design into biocomposite construction from naturally sourced, renewable materials, and for the first time in the A.C.T. line an Isobaric Drive System is housed within the precision CNC-machined foot. A Tactic 3.0 midrange with the Fibonacci tweeter and a Laminar Flow Guide port complete a compact floorstander designed to work close to room boundaries.
