The IGx Infrasonic Generator is the current evolution of the Torus concept Wilson Benesch launched in 2006, which removed all structural responsibility from the cabinet and grounded the drive energy in a large steel core at the heart of the design. An 18-inch carbon fibre and polyethylene terephthalate diaphragm, woven exclusively for Wilson Benesch and weighing under 100 grams, is driven by two voice coils and two high-power NdFeB magnets in push-pull formation inside a circular enclosure with no flat panels. Built-in amplification delivers 100 watts continuous, with response reaching down to 12 Hz.
