The AP-701 is the Reference 700 series power amplifier, a complete dual mono design from input to output with independent left and right toroidal power transformers, discrete buffer amplifiers, and two custom-made Hypex Ncore power modules. The input stage of each channel is fully balanced, and rated output reaches 125 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 230 watts into 4 ohms. The cabinet uses 3mm-thick steel plate with suspension-type joints that control the vibration behavior of the whole chassis.
