The MS-1c is the entry model of Matrix Audio's flagship M Series, a music streamer with both analog and digital outputs. Its DAC stage combines the AKM AK4191 and AK4499EX chips, and the analog output is coupled through Swedish LUNDAHL transformers, with XLR and RCA outputs offering fixed or 100-step adjustable levels for direct connection to a power amplifier or active speakers. Optical, coaxial, AES/EBU, IIS-LVDS, and USB outputs also let it serve as a digital transport for an external DAC. It runs MA Player with the MA Remote App and is Roon Ready with AirPlay 2, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, and Spotify Connect.
