The TS-1 integrates a streamer, DAC, and headphone amplifier in one chassis, built on the same streaming hardware platform as Matrix Audio's M Series. Each channel uses an AK4493SEQ chip in a fully balanced arrangement, and a discrete high-bias headphone stage drives 4.4mm balanced and 6.35mm outputs. XLR and RCA line outputs with two level settings connect directly to active speakers, joined by a subwoofer output with a 150Hz cutoff, while optical, coaxial, USB audio, HDMI ARC, and RCA analog inputs cover the sources. It runs MA Player with the MA Remote App, is Roon Ready with AirPlay 2, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, and Spotify Connect, and a DC input allows an external linear power supply.
