The Apollo is Michell's fully adjustable moving magnet and moving coil phono stage, powered by the separate Muse power supply. Class A gain stages and a passive RIAA equalisation circuit handle the signal, with each capacitor measured and hand-matched for channel balance; gain is switchable in five steps from 40dB to 73dB and cartridge loading from 33 ohms to 47k ohms. Both units are machined from solid aluminium billets that form rigid, RF-rejecting enclosures, and Muse houses its toroidal transformer and regulation stages away from the amplification circuits.
