The Cusis E is the entry point to Michell's moving coil cartridge range, with an elliptical stylus on an aluminium cantilever. It shares the range's generator design of a samarium-cobalt magnet combined with pure iron, and coils of 30-micron pure copper wire wound onto an ultra-lightweight armature seated on a purpose-designed damper. The large aluminium chassis and high-density body give the cartridge parts a rigid platform and absorb unwanted vibration.
