The T8 is the step up from Michell's T2, with a machined aluminium vertical bearing housing and a stainless-steel sleeve and vertical bearing shaft that raise the arm's stability and rigidity. Precision hand-matched bearing assemblies and a revised arm tube leave fewer points of possible resonance, and the arm is wired with low-mass copper internally and bespoke low-capacitance phono cables. The T8 is available only when ordering a Michell turntable; it is not sold separately.
