The TN-3B-SE is a two-speed belt-drive turntable that drives the outer rim of its die-cast aluminum platter to keep motor cogging away from the groove. The static-balanced S-shaped tonearm carries a knife-edge pivot-point bearing developed with SAEC, plus counterweight and anti-skating adjustment, and comes with an audio-technica AT-VM95E cartridge pre-installed on a universal head-shell. A built-in MM phono stage with the NJM8080 op-amp allows switchable phono or line output, and the high-density MDF plinth wears a multi-layer lacquer finish.
