The MD-1 is a streaming integrated amplifier that pairs Matrix Audio's MA Player platform with a 150 watt per channel power stage, so a single unit and a pair of passive speakers form a complete system. An MM phono stage, XLR and RCA line inputs with a bypass mode, HDMI ARC, USB audio, and Bluetooth 5.0 with LDAC and aptX HD cover analog and digital sources, and a subwoofer output handles frequencies below 150Hz with synchronized volume. An NVMe SSD slot provides internal music storage that can be shared over the network. It is Roon Ready and supports AirPlay 2, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, and Spotify Connect through the MA Remote App.
