The SS-1 is Matrix Audio's audio-grade network switch, with four 2.5Gbps Ethernet ports, two 100Mbps ports for audio devices, and two 10Gbps SFP/SFP+ cages for optically isolated connections. An ultra-low phase noise femtosecond clock references the main controller, and every Ethernet socket uses an individually shielded 10Gbps-grade transformer. A DC input allows an external linear power supply to take over from the internal switching supply, and the port LEDs can be turned off for the listening room.
