The SS-1 Pro is an audio-grade network switch engineered for streaming audio systems. Six 2.5Gbps Ethernet ports, two 100Mbps ports for lower-speed audio devices, and two 10Gbps SFP/SFP+ cages allow complete optical isolation between upstream network gear and audio equipment. Its clock system pairs a femtosecond clock with an RF synthesizer and accepts a 10MHz external reference, and a linear power supply built on a custom o-core toroidal transformer feeds the clock and controller through six ultra-low-noise LDO stages. The port indicator LEDs can be switched off from the rear panel.
