The Wavedream Reference Signature is the top edition of Rockna's flagship converter, built on the same AMD Zynq platform as the Wavedream Reference with four FPGAs running the discrete conversion system. It moves up to four RD-0 MK2 R2R DAC modules with 28-bit FPGA-driven individual switching per bit, the low-phase-noise Femtovox 2-LPN clock manager, an ultralow-noise power supply, and the signature version of the fully discrete output stage, reaching a dynamic range of 139dB. The signature software adds output dither and a digital PLL tracking mode to the Reference feature set, alongside Roon bridge, UPnP, OpenHome, AirPlay, Spotify Connect, Qobuz Connect, HQPlayer NAA, Squeezelite, and Diretta. Control is by front-panel touchscreen, metal infra-red remote, or iOS and Android apps.
