A pair of Von Schweikert Audio VR.thirty loudspeakers in cadmium red on the Absoulute AV demonstration floor

Four new brands land on the demonstration floor

Four brands joined the demonstration floor this month, and every one of them is set up and playing right now.

Von Schweikert Audio is the American reference loudspeaker house built on Albert Von Schweikert's design work and carried forward by his son Damon. The pair of VR.thirty floorstanders in cadmium red — that's them in the photo above — now anchors one of our listening rooms, and they are worth a visit on their own.

Rockna Audio builds digital front ends in Romania around discrete R-2R ladder DACs and in-house FPGA code. The Wavedream Reference Signature, the company's statement DAC and network renderer, is on demonstration now. Bring a playlist you know well and hear what four discrete converter modules do with it.

Advance Paris builds hybrid amplifiers in France: vacuum-tube input stages backed by solid-state power. Three of their integrated amplifiers are on the floor — the A10 Classic, the A12 APEX, and the A-i130 NOVA with onboard room correction — so you can hear the range side by side.

TEAC arrives six models deep: the UD-701N flagship DAC and network player, the VRDS-701T and PD-507T CD transports, the UD-507 DAC and headphone amplifier, and two Bluetooth-equipped turntables — the TN-400BT-X and TN-280BT-A3.

They join the Matrix Audio MS-1c streamer and MD-1P streaming integrated that arrived earlier this summer. More is on the way.

Every one of these is playing now. Come hear them during regular hours, or book a listening session and we will have your music ready.
